Our
curators care for and document over 4,000,000 objects in The State
Museum's collections. They also collect objects associated with
the history and heritage of Pennsylvania. In addition, they help
interpret the many meanings and significance of the objects for
The Museum’s visitors. They work with exhibit designers and
educators to craft new exhibits that highlight objects from the
collections.
Please
note that museum staff are unable to do appraisals of the financial
value of objects.
