An integral part of the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg, generations of Pennsylvanians have visited their State Museum every year since 1965: 60,000 school children annually, with a total of 130,000 families & children, PA citizens, and tourists visit every year.

They come from far and wide: Visitors from 66 of PA’s 67 counties, with a concentration of visitors from Dauphin, York, Cumberland, Franklin, Adams, Perry, Lebanon, Lancaster, Berks, Lehigh, Schuylkill, Lackawanna, and Luzerne counties, among numerous others.

Besides the Gettysburg National Military Park, The State Museum is the largest and most visited museum between Philadelphia & Pittsburgh.
