Pennsylvania’s history comes alive at The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Located in the heart of Harrisburg, The State Museum is a where you can discover exhibits that arouse your curiosity about the Commonwealth, challenge you to think and provide insights into times past and present. It’s a place where you can learn about dinosaurs and archaeological digs in the morning, walk through the life of a Native American over lunch and view fine art in the afternoon, only to realize that you still haven’t seen it all! Popular exhibits include The Civil War, Archaeology, Ecology, Paleontology and Geology and Fine Art. Feel free to take a look at some of these exhibits here, on this web site, and then come in and see for yourself what fun you could have at The State Museum.
