The State Museum of Pennsylvania is located in the capital city
of Harrisburg, across from the magnificent State Capitol, which
is also open for tours. The State Museum is a comprehensive professional
museum which was established in 1905 to collect and preserve artifacts.
The museum illustrates the Commonwealth's history and interprets
our heritage through exhibits and programs.
